    John received the farm near Moortown, in Centre T., Berks Co., Pa.; his son Jacob received 190 acres of the home farm; his son Christian received 169 acres of the home farm; his daughter Fanny, married to John Kauffman, received the residue of the home farm, with some more land joining by purchase.

    Jacob Hertzler died in 1786, some time after March 20th.

    Buried:
    They are both (Jacob and Catherine) buried in the Amish Congregation Burying-ground, two miles west of Hamburg, joining the home farm. There are no tombstones to mark the graves where our progenitors lie.
